I am working remotely as a full-time alternative text writer/content editor/ reviewer in a publishing company, since February 2019. I have worked with diverse clients like John Wiley, Macmillan, Norton, and Cengage. I work majorly in chemistry and life sciences. Comfortable with humanities titles as well. Also, I have good experience in training candidates for alt text writing. Prior to my current organization, I was Subject Matter Expert-Chemistry at Acadecraft Pvt. Ltd. During my tenure at Acadecraft, my responsibilities were composing IIT-JEE questions, creating solutions for several US and Indian textbooks, developing content for various books and exams held in India. My work experience also includes freelance writing where I develop content for nursing, civil engineering, and humanities. Furthermore, I have worked as a guest blogger and part-time subject matter expert in Chegg India too. The clients for which I worked as freelancer include McGraw hills, JBL, and Oxford University Press. Apart from my professional background, I am a certified digital content writer from ECT where I learned about the four different types of writing: persuasive, narrative, expository, and descriptive. I have done many certificate courses on self-development from Udemy, completed Naturopathy Lifetime Detox and Self Healing Program through Go Nature, Neuro-linguistic programming by Yogendra Singh Rathore. Time Management program by Ankur Warikoo, and attended many workshops on content writing and digital marketing. I received several in-house and client appreciations, got research incentives and achievers award in Memory Mastery and Speed Reading Mastery by Unstoppable Wisdom Academy. During my study, my paper titled, Ethnomedicinal uses, phytochemistry and pharmacology of Carica papaya plant: A compendious review got published in Mini-Reviews in Organic Chemistry, BMS-MROC-2018-32, Bentham Science (2018). I am keen on learning new things and passionate about writing. Although my education includes a chemistry degree, I like writing articles and blogs about health and lifestyle, technology, education, and mindfulness. In my free time, I enjoy reading nonfiction books. My education background includes post-graduation in chemistry from Lovely Professional University in Punjab, trainee at Jubilant Agri & Consumer Products Limited (JACPL), Noida. I have done B.Sc. medical from Guru Nanak University, Punjab.
