Personal summary

Concerning my working experience, owing to my strong passion for Statistics, I have enthusiastically worked as a teaching assistant, where I received a wealth of information and expanded my understanding of relevant subjects. In addition, my academic involvement was an invaluable experience for me as I could hone my communicative as well as teaching skills. Moreover, as for my undergraduate project, I contributed as a research assistant in a project supervised by Professor M.Ganjali. In this role, I translated a book titled “An Introduction to Small Area Estimation Techniques”. Subsequently, I did a project with respect to this book in which I used small area estimates for a Norwegian forest data set and predicting the mean of one of the parameters using this method. My academic involvement was an invaluable experience for me as I could hone my communicative as well as teaching skills. Besides, I have also worked as a data analyst in different companies. For instance, in IR Pricing Department (Taxi Maxim), I was responsible for analyzing the rate and prices of competing companies’ charts and reports by R, SPSS and Excel as well as customizing map services by taking advantage of Google and OSM. Overall, my professional experience has assisted me in incorporating my theoretical knowledge into hands-on experience.
