Description et exigences de la tâche

For an exciting project in the aircraft industry we are currently looking for a Powertrain Simulation Engineer.


The client is working towards a certification of his test aircrafts and therefore needs a powertrain simulation engineer who performs simulation activities, develops and maintains different use cases and requirements and conducts the validation plans.


Workload: 100%, Remote.


Your tasks will include:

+ Develop performance battery and powertrain models and perform thermal/electrical simulation activities.

+ Maintenance and development of 0D/1D powertrain models to support a variety of use cases and requirements.

+ Responsible to conduct the validation plans on powertrain model on in flight test aircraft and fleet aircraft.

+ Developing and coordinating test plans to ensure the powertrain model is fully validated by the time the certification is required.

+ Development of standard MATLAB/Simulink process and development of automation tools.

+ Perform data processing and analysis, with reporting to internal and customer teams and management.

+ Maintaining strong working relationships with the hardware development and calibration teams

Must-haves:

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field, or a combination of education and experience .

+ Min. 2-3 years of experience in (performance) powertrain modelling and programming skills.

+ Experience of BEV powertrain development is required.

+ Working knowledge of software including MATLAB and Simulink. Experience with Python is highly appreciated.

+ Advanced understanding of Battery Systems and BMS is highly appreciated

+ min. level C1 English skills


Nice to have:

+ Hands-on experience working with vehicle LV and HV systems is nice to have.

+ Prior battery component design experience, such as busbars, connectors, etc is nice to have.
