Must Haves:
5+ years’ hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and servicesIn-depth understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers as well as implementing cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with industry standardsStrong technical leadership background with deep understanding of enterprise architecture, quality assurance, and release management, plus experience minimizing business disruption while managing critical issuesKnowledge of disaster recovery and backup strategies in a cloud environment to ensure data integrity and availability. Additionally, leveraging Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of cloud tasks

Supply Ontario seeks a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the evolution of our technology infrastructure as we advance our digital capabilities within the Enterprise Solutions Portfolio for Enterprise Technology. This pivotal role will architect and implement Supply Ontario's next-generation cloud infrastructure, focusing on procurement-specific solutions while maintaining seamless integration with existing OPS common IT services. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of modern cloud technologies to enhance service delivery, improve vendor experience, and enable faster deployment of critical procurement solutions.
