Task description and requirements

Duties:

  • Compile, verify and validate accurate data records
  • Perform PVT laboratory procedures
  • Perform Gas and Liquid Chromatography
  • Experience in Gas and Liquid Chromatography is a strong asset
  • Regularly maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot essential laboratory equipment
  • Perform basic analysis.
  • Report results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education with a Chemical degree/diploma or equivalent experience
  • Previous work lab experience is an asset, training will be provided
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team player with the ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment
Work Environment: This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
