Task description and requirements

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for various maritime vessels, including power distribution, navigation, communication, and automation systems.
Oversee and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including naval architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with maritime regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of safety and reliability.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of existing systems on maritime vessels.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in maritime, shipbuilding, or naval electrical engineering.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in electrical system design, CAD software, and relevant maritime engineering tools.
In-depth understanding of maritime regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with international teams.
