- 7+ years as a technology architect
- Experience with highly complex software products and customized solutions
- Ability to transition from customized to configurable solutions
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage technical architecture for a large, distributed cross-platform environment
- Document architecture design of all systems, SOPs, and work on new designs (current and future state)
- Leadership in technical architecture development and implementation
- Extensive experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, databases, and communication protocols
- Middleware and gateways experience
- Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments
- Systems analysis and design in large systems environments
- ITIL process design and guidance
- Translating business requirements into reporting needs
- Development and management of technical architecture
- Use of CASE and project management tools
- Awareness of emerging technologies and trends
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables
- Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices
