Role: SAP BODS Developer
Location: TORONTO, ON
Duration: 6+ months


Description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain SAP HANA solutions to meet business requirements.
· Creating and updating batch jobs in Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
· Scheduling and executing the batch jobs in Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.


Required Skills:
· Proven hands-on experience in SAP BODS with HANA
· Knowledge of ETL processes/methodologies
· Experience in data extraction from flat files (.txt, .csv, database)
· Experience in check-in, check-out using central repository
· Knowledge of Creating Local, Global and Substitution Parameters a per requirement; Implementing SQL logics using BODS scripting
· Extensive working experience with functions like Aggregate functions, Look up functions, Date functions, Miscellaneous functions
· Experience in implementing business logics by using platform transforms like Query, Case, Merge, SQL transform, Validation transform
· Good hands-on experience in writing and interpreting SQL scripts
· Experience in creating batch jobs from the scratch and updating the existing batch jobs in Data Services Designer
· Experience in scheduling and executing the batch jobs using the management console
· Experience in building Business Intelligence Reporting applications
· Experience in design and development of universes using IDT/UDT in SAP Business Objects - Nice to have
· Experience in design and development of SAP BO Webi Reports and Crystal Reports - Nice to have
· Strong ticket management skills in JIRA and Service Now
· Strong documentation skills in Confluence and Microsoft Office
· Financial services experience – Nice to have
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
