Job Opportunity: Senior Web Specialist

Client: Supply Ontario

Duration: Start Date: October 1, 2024 - End Date: September 30, 2025

Schedule: 7.25 hours/day, 5 days/week

Role Description: As a Senior Web Specialist, you will modernize and manage digital platforms to enhance collaborative and professional development environments. This role involves full-cycle development and maintenance, ensuring web security and compliance.

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of full-stack development experience
Proficiency in PHP, SQL, Python, HTML, JavaScript
Knowledge in LAMP development, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, and common web security practices

Responsibilities:

Upgrade and maintain OPP.ca website and its intranet
Ensure accessibility compliance and security
Collaborate on various development projects and participate in all phases from planning to deployment

Evaluation Criteria:

70% on LAMP experience and web development
30% on relationship management and public sector experience

Notes: Position may shift to onsite work as per future directives. Experience in a policing environment is preferred.
