Senior Front-end (React) Developer - Freelance - Remote

Job: Senior Front-end (React) Developer

Location: Remote

Availability: 40 hours per week

Contract duration: 6 months + extensions

Start Date: October/November 2024

Our client is looking for skilled Front-end Developers to join their team remotely on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for creating commercially focused, innovative digital experiences that align with customer and brand needs. The main role is to deliver scalable, high-quality digital solutions integrated into the client's B2C/B2B websites. Please see more information below:

Tasks:

* Advocate for innovative web technologies within and beyond the Global eCommerce community.
* Implement the global campaign and permanent content strategy, aligning with commercial goals, communication standards, and brand values.
* Oversee front-end content development, utilizing web development frameworks and UX/UI best practices to create optimized, high-performance user experiences.
* Assist in shaping the client's digital vision and objectives.

* Leadership-oriented, with experience mentoring or guiding other developers and small teams.
* Proficient in English, with experience working in multicultural and international settings.
* Skilled in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly accurate, reliable, and detail oriented.
* Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, including ceremonies and sprints.
* Focused on delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong understanding of cross-device compatibility and cross-browser challenges.
* Solid grasp of User Experience (UX), usability principles, eCommerce, and digital experiences.

Requirements/Experience:

* 8+ years of experience in eBusiness, eCommerce, and/or digital agencies as a front-end or full-stack developer.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Advanced knowledge of UX and usability.
* Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (Preact/React).
* Skilled in CSS pre-processing (SASS, SCSS).
* Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket (Git), TypeScript, Storybook, Postman, and SonarQube.
* Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, atomic design, and accessibility (WCAG, screen readers).
* Basic Photoshop skills for media editing and optimization.
* Familiar with Sketch and Figma.
