SAP EAM Master Data Specialist

Our Calgary based Oil and Gas Client has a requirement for an SAP EAM Master Data Specialist

Expected Start Date: November 12, 2024

Duration: 1 year Potentially will be extended until Dec 15th, 2025, or beyond. Likely into Q1 2026

Location: Calgary / Hybrid

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8 hrs./day (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)

Data Analyst Is Responsible For The Following Scope Work

Master data transformation of data objects from the existing SAP ECC system to an SAP S4 CMMS system.
This will be primarily completed via Masterkey which will be used as a data staging platform for organizing and transforming master data.
Access and use of Existing SAP ECC system, McLaren, HDMS, and Sharepoint will also support this effort.
The first phase of the mock 1 data load will include all data objects in scope with a percentage of sample data set for each data object that deemed acceptable for the SIT1 test.
The primary objective of this work is to have SAP EAM full master data set completed that complies to a company standardized organization set by the core project on before the final phase of Mock 3 data load in order to support the final System Integration Testing (SIT).
This will be in service of providing the Cenovus upstream, midstream and downstream facilities with a minimum viable product for Go-Live of SAP in January of 2026. Any future cleansing or enhancements of the data will occur at a later date as part of a different phase.
The resources assigned to the project will need to have the experience and skills to support the scope of services.

High level Scope of work

Build/Cleanse the Functional Locations structure as per company standard
Identify ISO equipment unit/package as per FLOC structure standard
Allocate MSI to the parent equipment unit/package
Data cleansing SAP Object Type (equipment class & type) for Equipment
Assist/perform data mapping/cleansing SAP Equipment master
Assist/perform data mapping/cleansing SAP Preventive Maintenance
Assist/perform data mapping/cleansing SAP Equipment BOM or Material BOM
Support data mapping/cleansing SAP transactional data

SAP - basic administration (BC)
