Description et exigences de la tâche
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Responsible for Receiving, Shipping and / or Storing aircraft parts in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as established by Bell Helicopter and / or government agencies.
- Accountable for Identifying, classifying, handling, packaging and / or otherwise assuming and assuring the administration of parts based on specifications.
- Execution of filling daily order requirements (picking) using RF scanner in SAP system, based on customer placed orders, while maintaining a near zero error tolerance.
- Responsible for expediting stock put-away from inbound receiving orders in an accurate and timely fashion while ensuring an unwavering adherence to quality standards and accuracy.
- Accountable for daily physical inventory cycle counts and data entry of those counts to complete a wall to wall inventory cycle throughout the calendar year.
- Responsible for working closely with Warehouse Supervisor in identifying errors in inventory counts during picking and completion of data entry, to facilitate the solving of that error through system adjustments.
- Perform tasks and / or assume duties that contribute to the team deliverables and accountabilities in as an efficient and professional manner as possible respecting the warehouse environment; while respecting ethics, compliance, health, safety and other practices and policies.
- Ability to perform manual warehouse tasks, including lifting up to 20 kg. using approved lifting techniques.
- Actively Engage in and execute cost saving strategies and efficiencies as prescribed through Bell’s lean manufacturing model.
- Actively participate toward maintaining a zero-injury ethic through the identification and elimination of potential hazards in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment (5S), free from all possible dangers and other safety related occurrences.
- Participate with the warehouse staff in being responsible for the on-call AOG phone evenings and weekends once every 4 to 6 weeks once you have been fully trained in all aspects of the warehouse function.
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a customer service organization (preferably aviation and / or warehousing related);
- Experience operating and inputting data into SAP/ERP systems considered an asset
- Previous experience in import / export standards / procedures considered an asset
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with excellent knowledge of English required
- Analytical ability in evaluating inventory levels / demands considered an asset for future advancement
- Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office suite, (Excel)
- Previous Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), ITAR, International shipping training an asset
- Previous Inventory Control procedures an asset.
