My name is Tanveer Singh and I come from Jalandhar, Punjab. Currently, I am studying Mobile Application Development at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada. Before that i was working as a Software Development Engineer-2 (SDE-2) with Cars 24, after having worked as an SDE-1 at Make My Trip. Professional Experience: My last role was as a Software Development Engineer - 2 (SDE-2) with Cars24, based in Gurgaon, Haryana. I joined the company in late March 2024 and focused on enhancing the B2B Cars Dealers App. I worked on React Native there, Over the course of my work from March24 to August 2024, I aimed to refine its output and user experience while implementing new features. Worked on defining design language and enhancing app UI consistency. Prior to this, I was an SDE-1 at MakeMyTrip from Jun22 to March24, where I contributed to multiple projects. 1.Common Front end Library: The main goal of the project was to ensure the reduction of wastefulness that arose due to repetitive code production in different projects.To make the process more unified, the library of UI interface codes was formed and this project was integrated with it. Whenever a similar use case among the projects was identified, the appropriate UI features were first developed and released as part of the library's repository. 2. MakeMyTrip B2B Businesses (MyPartner, MyBiz) Desktop: In this project, we undertook the task of creating one coded block for the MyBiz and MyPartner Desktop websites. The MyBiz tool provides corporate ticket booking facility for respective employees while the MyPartner tool is a specialised option for travel agents to book tickets for their customers. Notwithstanding the fact that the two projects had different target audiences and unique use cases, a common feature among both projects is the UI which was about 80 percent similar with the only difference being the colour of the theme - orange for MyBiz and purple for MyPartner. 3. MakeMyTrip B2B Businesses (MyPartner, MyBiz) Mobile and MWeb: On the strength of combining the codebases of the desktop platform, we extended the approach to the mobile applications for MyBiz and MyPartner. In this project, our principal task was to develop one code base for both MyBiz and MyPartner mobile apps and make it operational on iOS, Android, and MobileWeb platforms.
