Role - Cognos Developer

Cognos Developer
Skill Set:
• Experienced Cognos Developer having hands-on experience on IBM Cognos v7.5, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Macros (in IBM Cognos, Excel, and Access), SQL, SBM
• Nice to have skills (not mandatory) – Tableau, SAP HANA
• Experience performing data analysis
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
• Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
• Time management and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple requests, changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Provide analytical and reporting services to a variety of different business partners.
• Design and manage a large pool of one time, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting jobs.
• Support several business units in delivering timely, accurate and personalized reporting to investors, advisors, dealers, internal clients and business stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver recurring adhocs reports.
• Design and build new reporting jobs.
• Liaise with different business teams to understand their requirements.
• Provide data extracts to support service recoveries.
• Build Cognos Cubes.
• Document and improve our existing processes, automating recurring tasks.
