Job Title: REQ192583 - Web Application Upgrades

Description: The CSDS is seeking a Software Developer to upgrade and replace legacy applications, including the Fire Reporting System (FRS), using .NET Core and integrating with Microsoft Entra. The role involves development, support, and maintenance of digital products, requiring expertise in ASP.NET Core, HTML, CSS, jQuery, VBScript, JavaScript, DevOps, Visual Studio, GitLab, and S3 Storage Solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Upgrade legacy applications to modern technology
Integrate FRS with Microsoft Entra
Implement S3 Storage Solution
Develop new functionalities and support existing systems
Participate in meetings, workshops, and software demos
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer

Qualifications:

Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DevOps
Experience with Microsoft Entra, SAML 2.0, Amazon S3, and SQL Server
Knowledge of CSDS systems is an asset
Availability to start work within 7 days of contract award
