Description et exigences de la tâche
- Ensure alignment of business initiatives with IT development.
- Identify process improvements and mitigate risks.
- Write detailed descriptions and analyze user needs, system functionalities, and steps required for improvements or fixes.
- Interact with clients, suppliers, users, and third parties to propose solutions.
- Evaluate the full scope, system impacts, constraints, risks, and alternatives of proposed solutions.
- Document business processes and system functionalities, validate with users.
- Create functional specifications, business rules, and other necessary documents for the programming team.
- Create and document test strategies, plans, and cases, and participate in testing.
- Review and validate design deliverables and methodologies.
- Provide updates on development progress, effort estimates, and issues impacting progress.
- Coordinate with the Change Adoption team for communication and training.
- Assist with the transition execution, including implementation planning.
- Supervise project resources and track project efforts.
- Participate in production support activities outside regular hours.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, specifically in Supply Chain.
- Experience with i-series, AS/400 architecture, and RPG application development.
- Skills:
- Understanding of IT and software concepts, design, and development.
- Knowledge of development methodologies (RUP, UML, Agile).
- Strong analytical capacity and ability to work in a team or autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
