Position Details:

Client: Ministry of Transportation
Location: 87 Sir William Hearst Ave, Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)
Start Date: September 16, 2024
End Date: March 31, 2025 (Extension possible)
Days: 135 business days, 7.25 hours/day

Must Have Skills:

10+ years of experience as a systems developer using Java EE frameworks.
Experience with SOAP, Restful APIs, Azure Cloud, Oracle databases, SQL, and Microservices.

Nice to Have:

Public sector experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and Java EE systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Cloud Architects).
Provide technical support, troubleshoot, and enhance web applications.
Prepare documentation and ensure adherence to government IT standards.

Hybrid Work: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
