Position Overview:
This EIT, Rotational Development Opportunity is an exciting way to join the Lafarge Pathways Program for new and recent graduates. When hired into this position, the successful candidate will also be enrolled in Lafarge’s New Grad program, which is a 24-month development program designed for individuals to gain exposure to new career paths within Lafarge.
This is a developmental role and an opportunity to gain widespread expertise within our business with the ultimate goal of building a long-term career with Lafarge. You will have the opportunity to be assigned to at least three (3) different product lines during a two-year rotation. Product Lines may include Precast, Pipe, Construction, Aggregates, and/or Ready-Mix.
These assignments are designed to allow you to explore and discover a variety of possible career paths across Lafarge, while accelerating your own personal growth, network and development. Successful participants from this program will transition into full-time opportunities that capitalize their full potential.

Learn through hands-on experience in collaboration with subject matter experts as well as a dedicated mentor.
Rotate to different product lines to build experience and knowledge.
Gain experience across multiple disciplines including Commercial, Finance, Sales & Estimating, Operations, Quality Control and/or Project Management
Meet and interact with fellow graduates, building a strong network across the organization
Enhance fundamental leadership skills

Education:
Recent graduate from a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology Program (Civil/Structural preferred) or Bachelor of Commerce
The successful candidate in the role should be registered as an EIT with APEGA or eligible for registration.
Interest in a long-term career in manufacturing, engineering and construction with a goal to pursue P. Eng. or CET designation.
Demonstrated leadership potential
Self-starter / Problem solver / Self-disciplined
excellent interpersonal, organization, communication and computer skills
the ability to work both collaboratively in teams and the drive and passion to individually contribute to great outcomes
Natural curiosity and passion for analytics and process improvement
Prior co-op or work experience in the industry is considered an asset
