Overview

The Operations Administrator is responsible for the daily management of all administrative tasks associated with the Aggregate product line in Edmonton. This role is critical to ensuring best practices are implemented and operations processes are correctly completed. The Operations Administrator works closely with the Operations Analyst, Finance Manager, Commercial Manager and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities



Prepares and processes all the Work Orders and Requisition Orders for the product line
Registers, reviews and approves all aggregate billings
Continuous management of individual workflow within our SAP business system
Administers the Purchase Orders and Receiving processes for all purchasing activities
Process and updates Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet hours of operations
Processes and Reconciles all Aggregate fuel entries 


Managerial Support



Reviews all Procurement to Pay (P2P) activities for accuracy and corrects any processing errors
Works closely with NABS on all requisitions, Work orders and PO’s
Organizes and Assists Operations Manager with site and plant documentation, Google Drive 
Records, investigates and reports any anomalies in processing data to Operations/Plant Manager
Works closely and supports all site management with daily, weekly and monthly activities and increases knowledge transfer
Order and maintain supplies for team (i.e.; Office Supplies, Site Ticket Supplies).


Miscellaneous



Responsible for all SAP System requirements for GEA Aggregates
Processes all Accounts Payable for the product line
Provides back up for other administration employees, logistics, payroll, third party processing, production entries, etc.


Qualification Profile

Education: 



High School diploma with a minimum two (2) years of administration experience


Experience And Skill Set



Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Exceptional ability to plan and organize people and processes
Understanding of SAP is an asset
