Role Overview:
Reporting to the Sales and Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will manage Lafarge’s in-house carrier operations in Atlantic Canada. Responsibilities include data analysis, transportation management, industry event attendance, and customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards.
  • Analyze data to drive decision-making and improve customer experience.
  • Manage relationships and processes around freight/transportation.
  • Develop and report key performance indicators.
  • Participate in improvement studies and action plans.
  • Collaborate with various teams for budget and planning processes.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Operations, Logistics, or Business Management.
  • Strong customer orientation and market insight.
  • Familiarity with road transportation, DoT regulations, and Atlantic Canada geography.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
