NOTE: HYBRID work model, 2-days/week in office. Office located in Toronto.

Type: 5 Month Contract, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Work Experience: 7+ years Full Stack Developer, Snowflake, .NET, C#, SQL, Python, Oracle, Azure, CloudBees, Jenkins, UrbanCode
Industry: Capital Markets, Investments, Bank

DESCRIPTION:

– With supervision and code/design reviews by senior staff, responsible for the timely completion of high-quality, well-designed and well-architected systems that make appropriate use of technology.
– Responsible for the completion of an acceptable volume of work and for the communication of the status of personal work plans and tasks required to design, develop, and test assigned portions of projects.
– Responsible for maintaining currency in technological trends and directions, continually upgrading personal technical and IT-related skills through research, education and self-motivated technology experimentation.
– Participate in new technology investigation and make recommendations for new technology adoption where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS:

– Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent working experience
– 7+ years of software design/development experience
– Sound knowledge of current information systems theories, concepts, and techniques
– Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
– 7 years experience needed in the following technologies or equivalent:
.Net, .Net.Core, C#, SQL, Python, Oracle, SQL Server
– Multi-threading programming
– Cloud development or cloud-native development (i.e Azure) – an asset
– CI/CD tools (CloudBees, Jenkins, UrbanCode etc) – an asset
– Snowflake
