Job Posting: Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Location:

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with extensive experience in J2EE development tools and various integration technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that meet our high standards of performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize J2EE development tools in the WebSphere Application Development environment, including RSA or Eclipse.
Integrate commercially available API design and implementation, focusing on load balancing, discovery, and resiliency.
Develop using IBM WebSphere portal and Urban Code tools.
Employ Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, and JSP.
Develop user interfaces using React, Angular, CSS, and Agile methodologies.
Perform Java development and database management with Oracle and open-source DBs.
Implement DevOps practices, including CICD and Spring Boot.

Required Skills and Experience:

Development Experience (40%):
- 10+ years in J2EE development with WebSphere and tools like RSA or Eclipse.
- Experience with API design and implementation.
- IBM WebSphere portal and Urban Code tools expertise.
- 10+ years with Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and JSP.
- Proficiency in React and UID development, Angular, CSS, and Agile paradigm.
- 10+ years in Java development and database management (Oracle, open-source DBs).
- Must have experience in DevOps, CICD, and Spring Boot.
UI/UX Experience (20%):
- 5+ years with CSS.
- Extensive experience in responsive development and HTML5.
- Proficiency in coding for mobile devices.
AODA Experience (20%):
- 10+ years in developing J2EE applications compliant with PCI and WCAG 2.0 standards, and AODA compliancy.
- Experience with JAWS, WAI-ARIA, HTML5, Hi Sheriff.
S2i Portal Experience (20%):
- Experience with developing and supporting Driver, Vehicle, and Health services in the ServiceOntario web portal.
- Familiarity with the Canada Post Address module, IBM Web Content Management, and Government Payment Gateway.
