Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough initial patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Manage ongoing care for patients with chronic or acute medical conditions, ensuring continuity and effectiveness.
  • Utilize diagnostic tests and interpret lab results as necessary to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients on preventive care strategies and treatment options, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
  • Facilitate referrals to specialists when specialized care is warranted.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential medical records, adhering to regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience providing primary care in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment, contributing to a patient-centric care team.
Credentials:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice medicine in Ontario.
  • Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
