We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with acute and critical needs. This position demands flexibility, quick thinking, and the ability to assess patient urgency accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Registered Nursing License in good standing with YRNA
- Current ACLS
- Minimum 2 years experience in ER
- Minimum 1 year experience in Triage nursing
- Expertise in assessing and prioritizing patients based on the severity of their conditions to ensure timely and appropriate care.
- Strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions under pressure and manage complex situations effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide clear information to patients and their families.
- Proficient in accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, maintaining focus on delivering quality care.
- Must know how to start an IV
- Negative TB test within a year
- Vulnerable Sector Screening within 6 months
- Current ACLS certificate
- TNCC is an asset
