Position: Scheduling Coordinator

Tenure: Full-Time, Contract (On-going)

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Position Overview:

Our client is a non-profit organization that supports seniors in the west GTA region. They are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator who will be accountable for creating and managing employee timetables, in addition to offering administrative and clerical assistance

What will you be doing?

  • Create and manage schedules in accordance with clients, including training schedules
  • Ensure the quality of care by resolving any scheduling changes and discrepancies
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, working closely with supervisors
  • Collect program data, statistics, and maintain service documentation
  • Participate in reception phone coverage and rotational duties
  • Manage a centralized filing system
  • Oversee the scheduling and payroll reconciliation of staff and subcontractors
  • Coordinate day-to-day client care and follow-ups
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
Must Haves:

Post-secondary education in Social Service or Gerontology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous experience in elder care environments and knowledge of gerontology would be a bonus

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Proficient in using Alayacare software

Bilingualism is considered an asset

Capable of exercising sound judgment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent ability to manage priorities and time effectively

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Able to work well under pressure and effectively manage problems

Proficient in Microsoft Suite products

  • Etobicoke, ON M9W 6L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

  • scheduling: 2 years (preferred)
  • Alayacare software: 1 year (preferred)
