Description et exigences de la tâche
Our client is a fine Quebec company with over 1000 employees and several plants in Canada. The company has been designing and manufacturing doors and windows for the industrial and construction sectors, as well as for private customers, for 35 years.
Your Responsabilities
Take charge of improving a production line:
Coordinate the use of A3 Thinking and clarify the project objective
Organise and facilitate small groups of continuous improvement activities
Support the leader and his team in implementing solutions and simple tools, and ensure that the improvements are sustainable.
Set up and maintain appropriate performance indicators
Analysing workstations, the value chain, methods and processes
Implementing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
Visualise and implement assembly processes and procedures in line with technical recommendations (manufacturing range)
Establish the production flow according to the tasks to be carried out and their duration
Determine optimal work sequences
Produce and modify visual aids to improve understanding of the work to be carried out in production
Support day-to-day production activities:
Support leaders in assessing the technical content of support requests
Carry out studies and draw up projects to optimise the plant's standard production time (SPT)
Investigate the source of problems and propose effective solutions;
Provide technical advice to production;
Support leaders in managing daily deviations:
Support leaders in identifying and prioritising improvements related to the various deviations.
Ensure compliance with GPQ standards (daily production management)
Monitor gamba walk performance and participate in improvements

Our Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, with a focus on operations management
A minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in a continuous improvement function, including 3 years in project management, all in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the window and door industry is an asset.
Experience in production management is an asset.
