Job Summary:
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to assist with recruiting activities nationally. The Healthcare Recruiter will work closely with the HR team to develop, organize and maintain all recruiting processes and initiatives.
To ensure success as the Healthcare Recruiter, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi-task and exercise high level of organization, efficiency and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with all aspects of recruitment 
  • Telephone screening
  • Working alongside managers surrounding the posting of their positions
  • Monitoring all open positions to ensure candidates are screened effectively. 
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Coordinating details related to the offer of employment 
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges and universities, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Maintaining databases
  • Other projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Human resources, Business Administration, or similar field
  • 3 years of healthcare recruitment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • High level comfort communicating in both English and French an asset.
  • Business or Administrative Certificate or Diploma considered an asset.
  • Advanced interpersonal, organizational and time management skills required
Skills and Abilities

  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs; Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French an asset
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail and possess strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with HRIS (ADP) an asset
  • Ability to act with integrity, good judgment, and discretion.
