Task description and requirements
Project focus
* Linux Migration
* Network configuration, operating system management, creation and maintenance of automated deployments and pipelines, and package management.
* Documenting processes, setting up the network environment, understanding current systems, and following client specifications (with the client being heavily involved in the design). Additionally, the ability to offer suggestions based on experience and expertise is essential.
Key skills and Experience required
* Security Clearance
* Proficiency in RHEL 8 & 9, CentOS, and security hardening.
* Extensive knowledge of network configuration, including firewall and SELinux.
* Familiarity with Yum package management and application dependency resolution.
* Experience in building and configuring RHEL Satellite Server for air-gapped environments.
* Understanding of Kubernetes and containerization.
* Expertise in automated deployments and pipelines related to the above technologies.
* Ability to maintain these systems.
* 5 years of public sector experience
