Task description and requirements

We are currently seeking a freelance employee for one of our major clients who meets the following requirements:

 


Your Tasks:


• Investigate relevant floor plans for predictive Wi-Fi design for the client's locations
• Discuss requirements with the team
• Ensure the Jira project tracking tool is up to date with the latest status
• Keep track of time spent on each store
• Create Ekahau Wi-Fi designs based on Aruba’s process
• Generate predictive Wi-Fi design reports, bills of materials, and per AP installer documents
• Share design documentation with the customer
• Repeat the above process for each assigned store


Your Profile:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in Wi-Fi design
• Proficiency with Ekahau Survey AI Pro software and access to an Ekahau license
• Understanding of Wi-Fi design concepts such as RSSI, transmit power, channels, and the use of directional antennas, high-density design, etc.
• Ability to conduct customer-facing discussions and provide explanations on the proposed design
• Collaboration with the Aruba core team
• Time management skills for tracking effort per location
• Seek assistance and sign-off from the Aruba core team for Wi-Fi designs and associated documentation
• Stay updated on any changes to the Wi-Fi design process communicated by the Aruba core team
• Experience in project management
• Fluent English language skills

• Location: Remote
• Duration: ASAP - 3 months + optional extensions 
• Workload: Full-time
