Task description and requirements
Our client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst for a 1 year contract.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
working with technical and business teams to understand our business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
working with the development team to ensure that products are built to meet our business requirements.
You should be a technical and business-savvy individual with great communication skills.

Key Requirements
8+ years of related experience
Experience in IT technical business analysis
Experience with project coordination
Experience working with outsourced service providers and internal IT domain project teams (infrastructure and applications)
Experience working at a large oil & gas company
Work with the project manager to develop project scope and timeline
Analyze and interpret user requirements, user stories, use cases, and system architecture documents
Participate in design and testing activities, review code, and participate in system implementations
Assist with maintaining and documenting systems
Perform data validation checks
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, policies, and procedures
Diligence in reviewing data to be input to system
Identify, quantify, and document business process improvements
Identify, analyze, and document user interface issues
Create user documentation including process flows, roles and responsibilities, and use cases
Train users on system processes and application
Identify and resolve system-specific issues through research and analysis
Perform other duties as assigned
Research and analyze new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions
Gather, analyze, and document customer information, needs, and existing processes
Develop and communicate technical requirements, including design, build, and test plans
Identify, validate, and mitigate technology risks
Develop innovative, efficient, effective, and scalable solutions
Evaluate usability and scalability of solutions
Work with business stakeholders and IT to implement changes
Design, document, test, and implement software solutions
Execute and support infrastructure audits and reviews
Track and report on project metrics
Develop, maintain, and document project plans
Manage, document, and support project schedule
