Task description and requirements
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Security Officers.
- Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to ensure Security Officers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to Security Officers based on operational needs and priorities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Security Officer team members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment among Security Officers
- Develop and deliver training programs for Security Officers on topics such as conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in security management.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Security Officers to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and enforcement actions.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for management and stakeholders on safety initiatives and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing security operations.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or community policing.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to community safety and security.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Certification or training in relevant areas such as law enforcement, emergency management, or community policing is preferred.
