EHN Willowview Complex Needs Emergency Facility is specifically designed to support individuals with elevated and unique needs. This facility provides essential services to people who require specialized emergency shelter support, where clients are accommodated based upon an assessment of their needs with the purpose of delivering services to clients within the community.

Job Summary: 

The Security Manager overseeing Security Officers is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of Security Officers within the community. They ensure the safety and security of individuals and properties by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, responding to incidents, and providing guidance and support to Security Team.



Job Functions and Duties: 

Leadership and Supervision: 

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Security Officers. 
  • Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to ensure Security Officers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. 
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to Security Officers based on operational needs and priorities. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Security Officer team members. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment among Security Officers
Training and Development: 

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Security Officers on topics such as conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response procedures. 
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in security management. 
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to Security Officers to ensure their professional growth and development. 
Administration and Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and enforcement actions. 
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for management and stakeholders on safety initiatives and outcomes. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing security operations. 


Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or community policing. 
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. 
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations. 
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to community safety and security. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals. 
  • Certification or training in relevant areas such as law enforcement, emergency management, or community policing is preferred.
