Task description and requirements

REQUIRED KEY SKILLS:

• RedHat knowledge
• Automation knowledge in software deployment

TASKS:

• Production monitoring of applications
• Job scheduling for mass data processing
• Anticipation and early detection of problems
• Script programming (e.g. shell)
• Deployment of applications including maintenance and care work
• Processing of incidents reported by users and by the department
• Analysis of individual tickets and identification of other affected data sets
• Derivation of suitable measures for troubleshooting (if necessary defect & software patch, formulation of cleanup strategies in mass data processing)
• Coordination of the measures with the affected sub-teams and the technical client
• Accompanying and implementing the measures, monitoring success

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least 3 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “technical application operations” (see tasks)

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “Administration of Oracle databases”

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “Use of SQL and ticket tools, such as BMC Remedy / SmartIT”

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the areas of “Administration of server operating systems (Linux, Solaris or Windows Server)”

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “script programming (e.g. Shell)”

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “container virtualization (e.g. Docker)”

• At least 2 years of knowledge and project experience in the area of “deployment tools such as Ansible/Puppet”
