Task description and requirements

Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our team. This role involves leading initiatives that enhance the efficiency of our business unit, focusing on product development, service improvement, and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services or wealth management, with proven experience in business analysis and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead research and analysis projects to improve business unit efficiency from product, service, and workflow perspectives.
  • Process Development: Assist in the development and implementation of new business initiatives and processes, including information gathering, analysis, and process redesign.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Maintain close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring productive and sustained relationships.
  • Requirements Management: Elicit and document detailed business, system, and functional requirements; coordinate their validation and approval.
  • Implementation Support: Work closely with development teams to implement requirements, guiding the QA process to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Project Management: Manage project schedules, maintain documentation such as issue logs and meeting minutes, and report on project progress.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all processes and materials comply with internal standards and external regulations, applying expert knowledge in information systems.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or a relevant university certificate/diploma with extensive experience.
  • Certifications: CSC, CBAP, PMP, CSM, or CSPO certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in business analysis and/or project management within the financial services or wealth management sectors. Additional experience in operations or technology roles is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the financial services industry and familiarity with core services of the organization.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), and familiarity with Jira.
  • Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
