Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of projects within our organization. This role involves comprehensive project planning, team leadership, and execution to ensure projects are delivered successfully and align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within technology and business environments, ideally within the wealth management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope definition, timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams comprising both internal staff and external partners, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring all parties are aligned.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of project deliverables, ensuring they meet established standards and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Scope Management: Manage project scope and handle change requests with a focus on alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders to enhance project cooperation and success.
  • Documentation: Keep comprehensive documentation of all project activities including plans, status reports, and minutes of meetings.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring projects remain on track.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Education: University or College Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience in the wealth management industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and familiarity with Jira.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, innovative thinking, and excellence in managing business and technology projects.
