Cloud Native Developer (m/f/d)

Your Skills
- Sound understanding of cloud native architecture & development and cloud platforms
- Excellent hands-on proficiency in: Java and Bash, preferably also in Scala
- Confidence working within Unix / Linux shell environments
- IaaS experience with one of AWS, Azure, GCP, preferably experience with cloud object storage technologies such as S3
- Ideally some prior experience with Kafka, usage or even contributions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Your Tasks
- work in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) which provides the multi-cloud foundation and a layer of abstraction for all applications to run on both public clouds and private cloud
- More specifically you will work on the technical Backing Service Kafka, one of our Big Data services that are bound and consumed by applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Enhancement of service by providing the "Tiered Storage" capability
- Taking over the cloud native architecture & development of cloud platforms
