Overview
The Equipment Maintenance (EM) Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing ongoing Equipment related activities and data integrity in SAP.
Responsibilities
Health & Safety:
Participates in all safety processes and practices at the operations.
Document and track performance improvement actions identified through Operational Reviews
Develop regional networks to ensure implementation of best practices
Develop and support reporting for White Fleet and HME assets to further operational improvements and management
Champion other projects and requests as required
Adhoc support for vendor inquiries to track payment history in SAP and work with local business teams and the performance manager to facilitate disputes.
Review all mobile equipment leases and FCA Agreements and actively coordinate with the Agg performance manager to manage across BC and Pacific Northwest to best allocate resources across business units and product lines.
Setup PO’s and maintain, coordinate reconciliation for biannual reviews, coordinate hour meter and downtime reporting
Oversee White Fleet management as well as HME equipment for all of BC and Pacific Northwest operations
Ordering new equipment and maintain master file for all BC with WCAN Capex and Lease team
Setting up new assets with unit numbers in SAP
Coordinate insurance on new assets
Setup leases for payments in Mendix system
Support Agg Performance Manger to conduct Equipment Maintenance reviews to ensure compliance with all maintenance procedures and that best practices are being used in all operations.
Maintain all the BC Equipment in SAP
Asset disposals, Asset transfers, and new asset setup
Act as the equipment maintenance superuser for BC in the SAP system
Training support for new users
New plant setup testing
Manage admin staff gas cards for Petro Pass program
Works directly with key stakeholders which are General Managers, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Finance Managers, Quality Control, Land, Safety, Environment etc.
Interacts with senior management as needed.
Interacts with Internal staff and External contractors on project development and implementation
Support Aggregates and other Construction businesses in BC and Pacific Northwest (USA)
Travel is anticipated to be 20% of work time. Covers multiple geographic areas.
Reports directly to the WCAN AGG Senior Performance Manager
Qualifications
Education:
Grade 12 with preferably 2 years post-secondary in business or finance
Strong knowledge of aggregate manufacturing process and equipment
Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Familiarity with local, provincial and governmental regulations would be an asset.
Familiarity with mining industry practices would be an asset.
