Task description and requirements
- Administer medication injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare topics, including medication usage, disease management, and preventive care.
- Monitor patient health conditions and vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Perform blood withdrawal procedures safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols and ensuring patient comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all interactions, medications administered, and treatments provided.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols to uphold patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on healthcare trends and best practices.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience with patient education and health counseling.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety standards.
- Must have a RN Nursing License
- Previous managerial experience in long-term care preferred.
- Experience dealing with the cognitively impaired.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with seniors.
- RN License (required)
- VSS (Vulnerable Sector Screening) within 1 year (required)
- 2 Steps TB (Tuberculosis) Test within 1 year (required)
- CPR within the last 3 years (required)
- Mask Fit within the last 2 year (required)
