Task description and requirements
- Safety: Promote a zero-incident safety culture and manage local and regional safety initiatives.
- HR: Develop, motivate, and train staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operations: Develop and track production processes to meet KPIs, manage inventories, and support operational action plans.
- Financial: Identify cost reduction opportunities, forecast profitability, and manage operational costs.
- Capital Projects: Monitor and report on capital project status.
- Customer Focus: Ensure adequate inventory levels and support logistics and quality departments.
- Land and Environment: Ensure compliance with Lafarge and regulatory guidelines, manage sustainable mining plans, and mitigate environmental impact.
- Community Relations: Foster relationships through local activities and partnerships.
- Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Bilingual in English and French preferred.
- Action-oriented, innovative, problem-solving, time management, and strong customer focus.
