Role: Unix Engineer
Hybrid position
Location: Toronto, ON
Contract: 12 months
Job Description:
Role Description: 1. Knowledge and eagerness to work in a support role and be available for off-hour support (when required)
2. Good knowledge of Development tools like GitHub, Pycharm, Jenkins, Urbancode etc.
3. Good communication skills and writing skills to document day-to-day Incidents and service Tickets, create user stories, and document processes in the wiki by using Tools like Jira, Service Now, and Confluence.
4. Working knowledge of Linux and coding languages like Python and ability to write queries in Databases (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
5. Ability to decompose logs and find out the root cause in case of scheduler job failures or ability to understand data for day-to-day data analysis and support.
