- 5+ years of experience (10 years preferred) in IT consulting
- Performs comprehensive analysis, including technical, process, skills and financial assessments, of ITS products and services in consultation with relevant stakeholders;
- Assess product/service maturity;
- Identifies capability gaps relative to client requirements and industry best practices;
- Documents all findings in a formal report.
- Leads workshops with stakeholders to define service vision and identify expected business benefits and outcomes;
- Consults with industry and perform jurisdictional scans of peer organizations to inform options selection;
- Develops final list of potential options guided by industry best practice and informed through stakeholder and industry consultations;
- Performs cost/benefit analysis for each option considered;
- Documents all findings in a formal report.
- Leads target state definition workshops in collaboration with service/product leads and relevant stakeholders;
- Works with users and stakeholders to develop business requirements and metrics;
- Documents high-level target state architecture;
- Refines cost analysis for the new target state;
- Develops gap analysis report for technology, processes and people
- Develops high-level roadmap/implementation plan to achieve target state;
- Documents all findings in a formal report.
- Leads the development of ITS Business Cases for ITS strategies in collaboration with ITS corporate procurement, relevant stakeholders, and in compliance with OPS governance and policies.
- Accountable for the development of multi-year service/product strategies;
- Development and standardized application of best-practice methodologies and frameworks;
- Leading strategic initiatives;
- Engaging/collaborating with users and stakeholders;
- Working at all levels across the organization from end-users to executive management;
- Presenting to a wide range of audiences including executive management;
- Development of presentations, reports and relevant collateral as required.
- Deep understanding of modern technologies, frameworks and tools.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and creatively solve complex business issues relating to the delivery of hosting services.
- Experience in overseeing projects/initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring that all strategic requirements are met.
- Extensive knowledge of both cloud platforms and on-premises hosting solutions.
- Skills in adapting/integrating modern technologies with evolving service/product strategies.
- Knowledge of best practices including agile and lean development.
- Experience in the development and application of service/product strategy methodologies.
- Proficiency in aligning IT strategies with overarching business objectives.
- Ability to clearly communicate how strategic options support business goals.
- Skills in adapting modern industry practices to evolving business needs.
- Ability to analyze and compare the benefits and limitations of strategic options/solutions.
- Exposure to pricing and costing models used to support the delivery of hosting services.
- Skills in defining and measuring performance indicators for current and new services.
- Experience in developing and presenting executive-level reports to management.
