Task description and requirements
- Establish and lead a strategic research chair focused on advancing knowledge and technologies for capturing and/or sequestering atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHG).
- Secure co-funding to enhance the Chair.
- The Faculty of Engineering is known for its dynamic research, technology transfers, and practical societal impacts.
- Emphasizes interdisciplinary initiatives and emerging fields.
- Hosts multiple research centers, including the 3IT, IQ, and C2MI.
- Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering: Focuses on materials, renewable energy, green processes, and biotechnology.
- Civil and Building Engineering: Specializes in concrete, structures, water resources, and building energy efficiency.
- Mechanical Engineering: Covers acoustics, aeronautics, bio-engineering, robotics, and more.
- Contribute to cutting-edge carbon negativity solutions.
- Teach at all study levels.
- Conduct fundamental and applied research in GHG technologies.
- Supervise graduate students.
- Participate in university and community service.
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Strong teaching and pedagogical skills.
