Job Description:
We have an urgent opening for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the automotive industry, specifically with MAN Truck & Bus or SCANIA. The successful candidate will join our team on a freelance basis to work on a variety of design projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of mechanical components and systems for trucks and buses.
Work extensively with sheet metals to create robust and efficient designs.
Utilize CATIA software for design and modeling tasks.
Collaborate with the electrical design engineering team to integrate mechanical and electrical systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the automotive industry.
Specific experience with MAN Truck & Bus or SCANIA.
Expertise in working with sheet metals.
Proficiency in CATIA for design and modeling.
Ability to work closely with electrical design engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
