SAP Logistic Data Migration Specialist

Job Description

Our client is looking for a SAP Logistic Data Migration Specialist for a 12 month with potential extension, hybrid mandate in Oakville, S4 Implementation project.

Responsibilities

As a Data Migration Specialist, primary responsibility will be to support project data migration strategy, processes, tools, and techniques to ensure that the data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently. 
Work with other members of the Data Migration team and business members of the project to help convert data to the new S4 HANA environment from non-SAP Legacy team (with a focus on SAP EWM and TM) 
Co-Ordinate and execute data construction and cleansing prior to loading into SAP 
Execute and document pre-load an post-load data validation for SAP EWM and TM modules 
Identify and log data migration defects 
Perform data cleansing & data enrichment as needed 
Resolve data migration issues and provide technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently. 
Establishing testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications. 
Consult with various stakeholders including subject matter experts to understand the source and target data models and business requirements. 
Develop a detailed understanding of data models for projects that are part of current and future migrations. 
Creating documentation of the project process to serve as a guide for future migration projects. 
Identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, and optimization. 
Should be independently work with customer and Team. 
Should be well conversant with Data Migration from Non-SAP systems to SAP S4HANA system. 
Manage and coordinate across functional teams consisting of business team members (internal, external, consultants, contractors, vendors). 
Communicate project needs, objectives, activities, and actionable deliverables. 

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Data Migration with hands-on experience; preferably working in a structured business and technical environment.

Minimum 10 years direct experience leading data migration activities for an end client/customer (Focus area: SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Inventory Management (IM)). 
Minimum 10 years of technical and technology leadership experience required ideally from a technology or engineering background. 
Experience in a logistics or supply chain environment would be an asset. 
Experience with Product information management (PIM) database would be an asset. 
Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math). 
Bilingualism would be an asset 

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
