Reporting to the Sales and Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will manage Lafarge’s in-house carrier operations in Atlantic Canada. Responsibilities include data analysis, transportation management, industry event attendance, and customer visits.
- Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards.
- Analyze data to drive decision-making and improve customer experience.
- Manage relationships and processes around freight/transportation.
- Develop and report key performance indicators.
- Participate in improvement studies and action plans.
- Collaborate with various teams for budget and planning processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Operations, Logistics, or Business Management.
- Strong customer orientation and market insight.
- Familiarity with road transportation, DoT regulations, and Atlantic Canada geography.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
