Job Title: Spring Boot Developer
Location: Toronto, ON
Hybrid position
Contract: 12 Months
Responsibilities:

Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Spring Data)
Strong experience in Java development, including Java 8 features
Experience with microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with front-end development (JavaScript, Angular, React)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform)
