Job Title: REQ20764 – Technical Analyst Level 2

Business Days: 254 days **

Contract Duration: Asap until 22-Aug-2025 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT)

Standard Hours per day:  7.25 hours work day

 

Note:

The successful candidate is required onsite the duration of the engagement with SNB in HSBC Place Fredericton, NB. SNB will provide office space with access to pertinent information and resources for the duration of the engagement.  The ability to work remotely may be possible, as required (and only at the clients request and consent)

Deliverables

The successful candidate must deliver the following, in order to successfully complete the engagement:

  • Application release activities as assigned.
  • Completion of all assigned maintenance, support and development activities (service requests, releases, incidents, problems, etc.).
  • Resolution of incident and problem management tasks.
  • Updating of team knowledge sites and documentation as applicable.
  • Provide operations support as part of the team rotation.  Compensation will be based on departmental rates for on call, after hours.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as update team documentation as required, participate in team scrums as required, etc.
The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Department’s Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment

 

Requirement Detail/Qualifications

Duties of Technical Analyst (TAn):

  • Designs and documents in detail all system components, their interfaces, and operational environment.
  • Designs data structures and files, subsystems and modules, programs, batch, on line, and production monitoring procedures, testing strategy and systems.
  • Documents system designs, concepts and facilities, presents and obtains approval of detailed system design.
  • Writes user manual covering manual processes and operational procedures, defines user acceptance testing checklist and obtains user acceptance thereof.
  • Identifies and documents system specific standards relating to programming, documentation and testing, covering program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions etc.
  • Initiates hardware/software acquisition, develops conversion plans and parallel operation procedures, estimates resource and cost requirements.
