Task description and requirements

Project Description: Direct IT Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SAP PM Plant Maintenance Consultant for a contract position in the mining industry, based in Vancouver, BC. This role involves leading and executing the implementation and rollout of SAP PM solutions, focusing on integration within a brownfield site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SAP PM implementation and rollout, focusing on integration with SAP PM modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and configure SAP PM modules accordingly.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between SAP PM modules, addressing plant maintenance, equipment management, and asset lifecycle management needs.
  • Conduct system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Train end-users and provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience as an SAP PM Plant Maintenance Consultant, with a strong focus on implementation and rollout projects.
  • Extensive experience with SAP PM modules, particularly in the mining or heavy industry sector.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English is mandatory, with fluency in either Spanish or French required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation: The position offers an hourly rate of $80 to $100 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 12-18 month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
  • Candidates must be able to commute in person to the Vancouver site.
  • Successful candidates must be incorporated by the start date.
