Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Processing Analyst to join our team for a 10-month contract. This role is essential in managing the increased volume of work resulting in retroactive salary increases for public sector workers. The position involves reviewing and processing files within the retroactive period, requiring significant effort and attention to detail.




Key Responsibilities:


Pension Recalculation: Apply all aspects of manual pension recalculation, including thorough review and recalculation of member pensions as per established procedures.
Quality Assurance: Maintain an acceptable Quality Assurance rate and adhere to productivity requirements set by the Manager or Senior Analyst.
Complex Processes: Follow escalation protocols for complex cases and use strong quantitative, mathematical, and critical thinking skills to evaluate and process various pension products.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, share best practices with team members, and work towards enhancing overall efficiency.
Independence and Teamwork: Quickly learn new processes and procedures, work independently, and operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Detailed Orientation: Focus on high-quality output with a strong attention to detail, ensuring all work conforms to current standards.




Requirements:


Experience: Proven ability to handle complex calculations and process large volumes of data.
Skills: Strong quantitative and mathematical skills.

 -Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

 -Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures.

 -High attention to detail and quality.

 -Experience with AS/400 is an asset


Knowledge: Understanding pension systems and processes is an asset.
Productivity: Demonstrated ability to meet productivity requirements and work to established timelines.
