Task description and requirements
Our client is a fine Quebec company with over 1000 employees and several plants in Canada. The company has been designing and manufacturing doors and windows for the industrial and construction sectors, as well as for private customers, for 35 years.
Your Responsabilities
Maintaining production equipment, cleaning, lubricating and replacing cutting tools (blades, bits, knives, etc.);
Drawing up and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Coordinate the work of technicians and subcontractors according to priorities and emergencies.
Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring the availability of spare parts.
Supervising the regular inspection of equipment and facilities.
Identifying maintenance needs and suggesting improvements to optimise equipment performance.
Keeping maintenance records and work reports up to date.
Maintaining pneumatic installations, compressor chambers, air leaks and pneumatic lubrication units;
Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with current safety and compliance standards.
Train maintenance staff and raise their awareness of safety procedures.
Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations.
Maintaining certain tools and machine components used in production;
Inspecting and taking measurements to assess the condition of equipment;
Repairing and adjusting production breakdowns;
Drawing up regular reports on maintenance activities and performance indicators.
Analysing breakdowns and malfunctions to prevent their recurrence.
Taking part in follow-up meetings and proposing corrective action.
Planned corrective action following machine breakdowns;
Manufacturing and installation of various maintenance projects;
Application of safety procedures

Our Requirements
Degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering.
Proven experience in maintenance coordination, preferably in an industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance equipment and techniques.
Project management and planning skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of current safety standards and regulations.
Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively.
