- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Understand and document the customer’s journey from vision and strategy to history and competitive landscape.
- Product owners assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure that work aligns with product strategy.
- Managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.
- Align product requirements, user journeys and personas to match the vision put forth by the business and their partnering design teams.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams within Broadridge and their client counterpart.
- Document, quantify and track goals relevant to the business, technology, and operation teams.
- Identify KPIs aligned with the product vision and overall strategy.
- Provide an overview of what the engagement will cover and demonstrate the ability to go broad and deep as the situation calls for it.
- Identify gaps including key problem statements and relevant personas.
- Able to work with different levels of the Broadridge organization from analysts to the C-suite.
- Define high level requirements, key hypotheses, flows and data sets.
- Managing the product backlog & Translating strategies into tasks
- Ensure that the transition between the preliminary engagement and execution teams is smooth.
- Work with the engineering teams to ensure they have the knowledge capital to effectively deliver the requirements.
- At least 5+ years of experience as a product owner
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and processes
- In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A successful track record of developing products within deadline
